The biggest problems need the best thinkers and with that we are pleased to announce the addition of four people to our roster. Join us in welcoming Heather McGeown, Harrison Tobin, and Jake MacMillan! We also want to congratulate Suzie Taylor on her new role as Commercial Real Estate Advisor, following her previous position as the firm’s Research Coordinator.

In our Halifax office, Heather McGeown steps into the role of Associate Vice President with a primary focus on Retail Leasing and Investment Sales in Atlantic Canada. With 18 years of experience in commercial real estate on both the landlord and tenant sides, she offers clients a comprehensive understanding of the real estate process and strategic advice at every stage. Heather is also an active in the community with Girl Guides of Canada and serves on the boards of CREW Nova Scotia and BOMA Nova Scotia.
Having previously completed three consecutive work terms with Cushman & Wakefield Atlantic, Harrison Tobin joins Team Collins in Halifax as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor, pending licensing. A recent graduate of Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Harrison served as Co-President of the Dalhousie Real Estate Association (DREA). His experience on our Research team has equipped him with valuable industry insights as he collaborates with James Collins, QPCR to grow their practice. Passionate about the industry, Harrison is eager to apply his skills and expertise for his clients.
We’re excited to congratulate Suzie Taylor on her new role as Commercial Real Estate Advisor in our Moncton office after serving as Research Coordinator for the past year. She will work alongside Adam MaGee getting to know her clients on an intimate level to understand their short and long-term goals for financial success. In her previous role, Suzie conducted comprehensive market surveys, analyzed vacancies and rental rates, and examined absorption trends. This experience, combined with her strong relationships with landlords and property managers, gives her valuable insights into the industry.
Another newcomer for the Halifax office is Jake MacMillan. Another recent Dalhousie University graduate, Jake brings a distinct perspective on Halifax’s evolving real estate market having watched it transform for over two decades. His deep connection to the city and sharp analytical skills will help us drive local business growth. Jake is eager to leverage his analytical skills to decode the numerical aspects of Halifax’s real estate market.
