Supporting Local Charities in Moncton This Holiday Season
MONCTON, December 17,2021 – In a year of unprecedented changes, we are adapting our holiday traditions as well. Every year we look forward to welcoming familiar faces at our yearly holiday reception. This festive gathering brings together our clients, vendors, and industry contacts, giving us the chance to connect and celebrate another year gone by. Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we are not hosting our much-anticipated Moncton holiday client reception for 2021.
This year has been difficult for many, but especially so for Sistema Youth Orchestra, Youth Impact Jeunesse and Greater Moncton SPCA.
In lieu of our 2021 holiday reception, we decided to redirect funds as a donation to for Sistema Youth Orchestra, Youth Impact and Greater Moncton SPCA. We hope to assist the expansion of their operations and support the essential work they do for our community in Moncton.
Sistema Youth Orchestra began in 2009 with the goal to bring music to children across New Brunswick. Sistema NB now operates in Moncton, Saint John, Richibucto, Edmundston, Miramichi, Hillsborough, Tracadie, the Elsipogtog First Nation and Fredericton; reaching more than 1100 children daily. Youth Impact Jeunesse provides care and guidance to youth aged 10 to 24 years of age who experience social, emotional, or behavior challenges. They offer residential programs, outreach programs, and Youth Quest which has served 3,326 meals in the last year.
