Our Team is in Full Bloom This Spring

With spring buzzing in the air, Cushman & Wakefield Atlantic is pleased to announce five new additions to our ever-blooming team. Join us in welcoming Alec Cranston, Marc Gosselin, Jianwei Jia, Kimberly MacLean and Ian McCoy.

In our Halifax office, Alec Cranston steps into the role of Commercial Real Estate Advisor. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Alec comes to us with several years of experience in the healthcare industry. He worked alongside medical researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals and hospital executives – building and maintaining strong relationships and contributing to the field of medicine with his own research. Pivoting to commercial real estate, Alec retains his core values of respect, accountability, and commitment.

Joining us as Commercial Real Estate Advisor in Saint John, Marc Gosselin is another valuable new addition and fully bilingual. Marc brings over 40 years of Commercial Real Estate experience. For most of his career, Marc worked for Irving Oil Limited and Cobalt Properties where he held the position of Director of Acquisition and Business Development and Senior Real Estate Manager for Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada and New England. Marc has built a strong reputation and relationships with many owners, developers and tenants. Passionate about the industry, Marc is ready to apply his knowledge, skills and expertise for his clients.

Stepping into the role of Director of Business Development, Ian McCoy comes to us with over 30 years of professional experience including 15 years as a commercial realtor whereby he has completed sales, leasing and advisory assignments across New Brunswick. Ian is known as a relationship builder who works with his clients to assist them in making considered, informed and wise decisions. Based out of Saint John, Ian continues to elevate the community as an active member of a number of boards including acting as former Vice President of the Saint John Real Estate Board. Our team will benefit greatly from Ian’s leadership, energy, and industry knowledge.

Jianwei Jia is currently working towards acquiring his Commercial Real Estate license in Moncton. A proud Chinese-Canadian and graduate of Cape Breton University (MBA, Marketing). Throughout his professional career, Jianwei has kept his fingers on the pulse of the business community and continues to be heavily involved in the community as a sports coach and through volunteer work. He thrives off lifelong learning, deep-rooted client relationships, and calibrating the decision-making process using relevant data and informed judgment.

Another newcomer for the Moncton branch is Kimberly MacLean. Armed with five years of marketing experience for a local commercial property firm, Kimberly joins us in the role of Marketing Coordinator. She brings with her a wealth of skills related to marketing, sales and business operations. We are pleased and honoured to have Kimberly on our team, making full use of her in-depth industry knowledge and her fresh marketing perspective from a diverse background.

As warmer months approach and business heats up, our firm welcomes each challenge and opportunity that sprouts up. We also take pride in attracting the region’s top talent. By bolstering our team of experts, we strengthen our optimistic resolve towards post-pandemic recovery. Our firm is uniquely poised to tackle the challenges ahead, and our team is more well-equipped than ever for future successes.

Warmest of welcomes to Alec, Marc, Jianwei, Kimberly and Ian!
